The starting hands in pot-limit Omaha may be the most important aspect of that game. It is very important to play all 4 cards as a whole rather than just 1, 2, or 3. For instance, a hand such as Kh Kd Qh Jd is much stronger than Kh Kd 7s 2c even though both have one pair of K's. The fact that the Kh Kd Qh Jd is double suited with consecutive cards makes the hand much more versatile than Kh Kd 7s 2c which has 4 different suits and can't make a straight in any form. So, Kh Kd Qh Jd can be recommended to play bigger pots pre-flop than Kh Kd 7s 2c, which is actually recommended to fold pre-flop in a full-ring game in early position.
